  • What Is Your "Quality Guarantee"?

    Artifact stands by our aprons and warrantees any issues in workmanship or materials for up to 90 days after purchase. This does not cover normal wear, accidents, or neglect. We will repair or replace at no charge based on our determination. Damage due to wear and tear will be repaired at a reasonable charge. 

    If the Artifact product was purchased from one of our retail partners, please contact the retailer with valid proof of purchase. 

  • How Do I Exchange My Apron?

  • How Do I Return My Apron?

    Artifact gladly accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged or defective merchandise purchased through Artifact’s Omaha retail store and our websites (www.artifactbags.com & www.artifactaprons.com) for full refund within 30 days of original ship date.

    Items marked as final sale are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

    Gift Exchanges are processed by ARTIFACT gift card (usable for bags, aprons, and accessories), or by crediting the purchaser’s payment source.

    We only offer free shipping for exchanges.

  • Where are you located?

    Our retail store and production studio is located at 2709 Leavenworth St. Omaha, NE 68105.

  • Do You Make Custom Aprons?

    We offer customization for volume orders. Please visit Business Sales for more information.

  • Do You Offer Free Shipping?

    We offer free USPS shipping and tracking for all orders in the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska.

  • When Will My Order Ship?

    Orders ship M-F and typically take within 1-2 business days to fulfill. Large orders may take longer. We do not have expedited shipping options at this time.

  • Where Do You Ship?

    We ship worldwide. You can determine shipping cost for by adding items to cart along with your destination address at checkout. 

  • Do You Offer Expedited Shipping?

    Not at this time.

  • How Long Does A Refund Take?

    We process a refund immediately upon receipt of a returned item. Your bank may take 3-10 days to process.

  • Where Is My Order?

    Once your order is shipped (typically within 1-2 business days), you will receive an email with USPS tracking information. If your package shows as being delivered, please check with your mail carrier and neighbors. We ship to the address provided at checkout and are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. For international orders, your delayed or missing package may be held in customs and require duties / import taxes be paid before receipt of goods. These are determined by the customs agency within the destination country. Although charges are not always incurred, assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and the tax-free threshold, when applicable, for goods imported into the destination country. Payment of any duties and import taxes is the responsibility of the recipient, and these fees are collected at the time of delivery.

  • How Do I Track My Order?

    You will be emailed the tracking number shortly after your order ships. To track your package, follow the tracking link in your email or input your tracking number into the carrier’s website.

  • Where Are Your Aprons Made?

    ARTIFACT aprons are made in our Omaha, Nebraska studio since 2010.

  • How Do I Care For Wax Canvas?

    Spot clean with a rag or soft bristle brush using cold water and mild soap. Do not machine wash or clean with detergent. Air dry. Store in dry, non-humid place. Wax may be reapplied as needed. For more information about our our materials visit Apron Care.

  • What Is Wax Canvas?

    Canvas that has been impregnated with wax as a traditional means of water resistance. Similar to our leather items, waxed products will patina over time, making it a completely unique item. Any creasing or marks are natural to the waxed finish.

  • How Do I Care For Leather Apron Straps?

    Simply wipe with a damp rag and air dry. Avoid soaking. No need to oil or condition, as the leather has already been treated with waxes and tallows at the tannery.

  • Why Is My Order Being Held In Customs?

    Your package may be held in customs and require duties / import taxes be paid before receipt of goods. These are determined by the customs agency within the destination country. Although charges are not always incurred, assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and the tax-free threshold, when applicable, for goods imported into the destination country.   • What Is The Difference Between Wax Canvas And Wax Cotton?

    Technically, wax canvas is cotton and both are a plain weave, but we differentiate because our wax cotton is 10.10oz weight, and our wax canvas is a much heavier 14oz weight. Wax canvas is quite sturdy and better suited in a workshop than a kitchen, but this does not deter some chefs! Wax cotton feels considerably lighter and is comparable to the fabric weight of a Barbour jacket. 

  • Can I Use Bleach On My Apron?

    We LOVE using natural materials at Artifact. Chlorine bleach weakens the cotton fibers and will reduce the lifespan of your apron. It can also cause white materials to yellow. Consider a product like Oxyclean as an alternative for all cottons. 

  • Do You Make Vegan Aprons?

    We many vegan styles in our culinary series here. Our Artisan aprons use a leather washer to reinforce the pocket rivet, but if you are interested in a vegan No.325T apron, state "Vegan Please" in the comment section at checkout and your wish will be our command.

  • Which Aprons Are Ideal For Gifting?

    Several of our aprons are tailor fit based off the wearer's jean size and height. Click here for aprons that do not require this consideration. 

  • Do You Offer Repairs?
